Terrabyte Philippines, Manila — On November 5, 2025, Terrabyte hosted the “TerraFEST Workshop: Defending Digital, Securing the Future Together” at Discovery Primea, gathering cybersecurity leaders, IT professionals, and solution providers to explore the future of cyber defense in the Philippines.
As the country continues its rapid digital transformation, the event emphasized the urgency of building stronger, more proactive cybersecurity foundations. With today’s threat landscape marked by ransomware, phishing, and complex data breaches, the workshop aimed to empower enterprises to embrace automation, visibility, and intelligence as key pillars of defense.
The event opened with remarks from Abigail Francisco Atip, Channel Sales Manager of Terrabyte Philippines, who shared how Terrabyte continues to bridge global cybersecurity innovations with the local market, enabling businesses to thrive securely in the digital era. Among the featured sessions, Brijesh Mishra (Ben), Regional Sales Director for Asia at SecHard, delivered an impactful presentation on “Reducing Human Error in Security Hardening Through Automation,” demonstrating how automated platforms like SecHard streamline configurations and minimize risk across complex infrastructures.
Followed by Yair Poplawski, Business Development Manager at SASA Software, who presented “Protecting Critical Industries: How CDR Secures Healthcare, Finance, and Government Data Flows”, offering real-world insights into Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) technology. Nicko O. Navarrete, Sales Manager Philippines of SEQRITE, highlighted the importance of endpoint resilience in his session, “Strengthening the Last Line of Defense: Smarter Endpoint Protection for Modern Threats,” demonstrating how AI-driven protection ensures business continuity.
Finally, Roy Toh, CEO of Terrabyte, introduced “From Zero to Evidence: Introduction to Digital Forensics with Belkasoft,” sharing the essentials of digital investigation and how modern forensics tools accelerate evidence acquisition and analysis. The workshop concluded with closing remarks from Joseph Cheong, CSO of Terrabyte, who expressed appreciation to all speakers, partners, and attendees for their continued collaboration in strengthening cybersecurity across Southeast Asia.
